At SWC Trade Frames, training and development are at the heart of everything we do. Manufacturing bespoke windows and doors requires more than advanced machinery and quality materials—it demands knowledgeable, skilled people who take pride in what they produce.
We are incredibly proud that the majority of our team is homegrown talent, recruited from Scarborough and the surrounding towns and villages. Today, more than 150 people make up Team SWC, with over 40 employees having dedicated 10 years or more to the business. That level of loyalty and experience reflects the culture we have built together.
With one of the most diverse and specialist product ranges in the fenestration industry, continuous learning is essential to our success. We regularly invest in product-specific training sessions, exploring every component in detail so our teams understand not only how each product is manufactured, but why we choose particular components and the quality behind every trusted supplier and brand.
We firmly believe that while many windows and doors may look similar, they certainly do not perform the same. That's why we are constantly expanding our knowledge, understanding new products, their applications, their benefits, and their limitations, to ensure we continue delivering the highest standards of quality and performance.
